Job Title:        Retail Program Coordinator and Project Manager

Summary    
Tremont West Development Corporation is a not-for-profit community development corporation for the Tremont neighborhood in Cleveland, OH.  Our mission is to maintain and improve the living, business and cultural environment for all of Tremont.  The scope of work for this position includes coordinating, identifying funding for and implementing programs and projects that enhance the quality of life for all of Tremont with special focus on sustainable retail and commercial development and infrastructure projects.

Objectives
Objectives for this position include
FT, 40+ hrs, Mon – Fri. Some weekends required.  Cleveland, OH

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinating projects
  • Coordinate Storefront Renovation Program
  • Proactive attraction and retention strategies for retail and commercial projects
  • Oversee retail initiatives
  • Serve as liaison for community for larger scale infrastructure projects such as Towpath Trail, Innerbelt project and collaborative efforts
  • Work to create an environment that improves the business environment and quality of life for all residents
  • Coordinate green infrastructure enhancements
  • Implement projects and programs within Model Block areas
  • Grant Writing
  • Marketing of programs

Other Duties
  • Assist in festivals, special events and other organization initiatives
  • Complete all necessary reports

Qualifications
The position demands a highly-skilled community development professional with prior experience in non-profit community development, governmental agency, or similar with client/customer and/or general public skills.  Possession of a valid driver’s license and car is essential.  Computer proficiency in outlook (email and calendar), spreadsheet and word processing mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications
Bi-lingual – English and Spanish

Education and/or experience
BA with two to four years experience.  Master’s Degree preferred.

Salary
$35,000 with competitive health benefits package
